Corvallis

Corvallis is a small college town of 50,000 people located in the mid-Willamette Valley, on the Willamette River. Nearby towns are Albany (10 minutes), Eugene (45 minutes) and Portland (90 minutes). The weather is mild in the summer and wet in the winter. It hardly ever snows here, but it rains quite a bit. There are some nice local parks for hiking and the coast is about an hour away.
